San Luis Obispo, CA- San Luis Obispo Creative and
Marketing Alliance (SLOCAMA) welcomes interested
business professionals to their next meeting,
scheduled for Tuesday, September 16th at 5:30pm.
This month's featured speaker is
Data Based Marketing
founder David M. Dawson. David will speak about the
impending social shift from baby boomers to
millennials as well as how to market to all of
these audiences.
David M. Dawson has a 28 year professional
marketing career. He created Data Based Marketing
in 1985, at the dawn of desktop publishing. His
agency specializes in the credit union industry,
with a nationwide client list. Dave is a recognized
industry expert and is regularly asked to speak at
national conferences. He most recently presented at
the prestigious
2008 Aerospace
Conference.
SLOCAMA endeavors to bring local communications
professionals together to collaborate on projects
and to offer a forum for networking and educational
seminars related to marketing. The group was formed
in 2004 and has 75 active members.
Membership dues are $50 per year for individuals,
$35 for students and $150 for companies (cost
depends on number of memberships desired), and
includes upcoming mixers and educational seminars,
dates and topics to be announced. Meetings are on
the third Tuesday of each month at 5:30pm at BIG
IMAGES/iiiDESiGN 767 Francis Ave, San Luis Obispo.
